Generally all projects are billed and payable in 15 days of receipt as each milestone in your contract is reached and completed. The only exception is for the final launch invoice, that is due on receipt and must be paid with any other balances in full before we will launch the website.

If we are actively working on a project for you and you go past due on making your payment we hold the right to stop the project until payment is made. If your project is stopped for lack of payment then the estimated dates of completing the next milestones will be moved and you may not make your initial launch date.

We make every effort to keep your project on target, we keep all our clients organized in a project management system so the dates are very tight. If you happen to miss a payment and we halt the project you will have to be moved to the next available slot in our system.

JS Web Solutions tries to estimate out and provide clients with fixed cost contracts, that will spell out all the milestones and deliverables. But from time to time we have a project that has some unknowns.

If we are working with a client that does not have a fully scoped project and we have to estimate our hours and deliverables then we will provide an estimated cost contract. All that means is that we will bill you for the actual hours it took to complete the deliverables in the contract. Sometimes it goes under the hours and sometimes it goes over.

If you have a contract that has a general scope and general deliverables and it has been given to you as an estimate you are still responsible to pay for any hours that go over the initial contract.

Clients that generally received fixed cost contracts either have an ongoing contract with us and an agreement has been made in advance, is an agency that we have agreed on costs, or they have done their due diligence to go through the scoping and consulting process with JS Web Solutions so we know exactly what the deliverables are.

JS Web Solutions tries to plan and incorporate all stock images and icons into the price of your project. However we only purchase standard licensing (most clients only need a standard license. If you are using it over multiple websites or for print the licensing requirements may change) for all image assets. If your project falls outside of the scope of that license we will inform you of the cost and it will need to be paid in full before we purchase the upgraded licensing.

We do not control the licensing practices of the companies that offer stock imagery or icons. So we can not control the cost of enhanced or next level up licensing that goes beyond standard or a creative common license. If you are looking for freeware we are happy to do any necessary linking or other requirements on your website. We are not responsible for you removing links for freeware images or using an image outside of the scope of the license provided. We will do our due diligence to offer you and purchase the correct licensing to fit your project.
