We are proud to announce that we have a new look and feel to our website. This revamp was a true labor of love on both our parts. There were a lot of lunches, meetings, and cups of coffee as we planned an discussed what we wanted our new look of our website to be about. We really thought about user feedback over the years, and how we wanted to get across our message of what kind of company we are as a whole. We are hoping that as you navigate through our new website you find the answers you are seeking and enjoy the new user experience.
New Information
As you go through our site some of the new things you will find is that we have a whole page dedicated to support ; this is where you can find articles we write, FAQs and even we have a whole section dedicated to requesting a support call, if you have a maintenance package you can open a ticket, and a whole host of other options to get answers quickly or contact us.
We also now have user testimonials and started writing out case studies, because not all of the projects we work on can end up in a portfolio we are hoping that these tools help you see the value of using JS Web Solutions as your web development company.

How we planned our Revamp
Before we even started the revamp of our website we looked at our site analytics, and we put together the information people look for the most. That is why you will find the pages are longer and richer in content. We have plans to expand on those pages, but a web development company working on their own website means for a small business alot of after hours and weekends and if we waited till it was perfect we might never launch..lol.
The next step, after we reviewed the analytics was the design, wire-frame, mock-up and prototyping stage. In order to get that done in a clean manner here at JS Web Solutions we use the Adobe Creative Cloud. By having an up to date license our designer has a whole host of tools at her fingertips that lets them design and give not just our company but all our clients a richer design experience. Our designs were built in Adobe Experience or XD and that allows us to create interactive prototypes that lets you get an idea of what the UX experience will be like. Additionally the design was developed using Photoshop and Illustrator for graphics and imagery. A majority of the stock footage was sourced from Adobe Stock and Unsplash.

Once we had our Mockups together, I had them uploaded to our Adobe XP Prototype so we could collaborate through comments on edits and make any changes necessary before our site went to a dev site-to be coded.
New Color Scheme
If you notice our site is sporting a slightly different color scheme. The reason for that was our old site the colors were too bold and we felt it didn’t give off the message we wanted. So we updated our blues, purples and pretty much ditched the green, except in our logo. Our new color scheme was created with the help of Adobe Color, that helps you discover colors that complement and accent your main brand colors. In the end the colors we landed on are softer and we hope you enjoy them as much as we do. You can see our branding guide for colors, and fonts used throughout our website.
