With us moving into summer JS Web Solutions has been wrapping up projects and looking to make changes in the future on how we deal with clients.

The project we are most excited about launching is a project we did for Seaman’s Media and re-launched their magazine brand New England Hockey Journal as a WooCommerce Membership website! The project took us over 6 months to complete with a lot of planning, calls, emails and development. It is the first website in a multi-brand product roll out and we are so pleased we were able to help them get this project off the ground and live!

Right now for our company, we are reviewing how we do business and how we can better serve our clients. We are developing some new products that we plan to start rolling out. The first will be our newly revamped website of WP Service Call. We are going to make it easier for people to sign up and with requirements with GDPR we want to make it more transparent that the website WP Service Call is owned and operated by JS Web Solutions. We also are working on the finishing touches to have a prepackaged plan that will let potential clients that don’t have a large budget have a startup website.

Other changes that are coming over the summer are how we deal with non-contract/non-commitment clients. We had a realization that it is impossible for us to always be on call for people who have not committed to maintenance or a monthly retainer that are not on a current project contract. Which can undermine clients that have made those commitments. To change that we will be making changes to de-prioritize those that do not have a current contract or do not pay a monthly maintenance or retainer fee. We will be rolling out a special on-demand rate that will be higher than our normal per hour rate to make up for the hours and schedule changes we have to make to continue to give our contracted, maintenance, and retainer clients priority.  Additionally we will be putting aside one day a week that will be dedicated to handling any client that does not have an active contract or commitment with us. If you do not have a current contractual agreement with us we will be sending you an estimate to be on a contract and the rate will be based on an average of the work we do each month for you. We hope all our clients understand that we have to pivot our business model to better serve and ensure those that are paying for the priority get the excellence they deserve.
